Trailer Supply & Servicing
Here at Marlin Ribs we believe that proper trailer maintenance is vital to prevent breakdown or failure when you need you trailer most, so we can do anything from a minor service to a full rebuild or just supplying a new bit for you that has “Broken”
We can supply you with a new trailer for your boat from a range of makes or we can have a trailer custom made to your requirements or we can just modify your existing trailer for you
Launching and Recovery Training
Launching and recovering your RIB can be a daunting task if you haven’t done it before, we can provide full training to show you how to make this an enjoyable task and make life easier for you so you can enjoy more time on the water.
Towing your RIB
We can provide you with advice on towing your Rib to obtaining full training with certified training organisations, we can also advise on vehicle selection to tow your Rib with, also we can show you the correct way to secure your Rib to the trailer and advice on what straps to use….
Repairs
From time to time we all have a little bump!!!! We specialise in any thing from a minor gel repair to a major insurance claim, we will also replace things that have broken or just fallen off, we will collect your Rib and return it when it has been fixed….
Tuition
Marlin Ribs are advocates of proper training through the RYA sceme and as such can offer to arrange training at all levels on your behalf. Marlin Ribs recommend that all prospective purchasers and existing owners alike gain the minimum qualification of RYA Power Boating Level 2 before undertaking any pleasure boating in their Rib. These courses can be arranged either with the use of your own craft or in an approved RYA school craft.
If you intend to make use of your Rib abroad then you will be required to carry the International Certificate of Competence. Again, Marlin RIBS can advise on how to achieve this through RYA approved schools.
